At St. John’s, we believe church is something we create together. Every act of service, no matter how small, helps build this community and share God’s love with the world. Whether you love working behind the scenes, connecting with people, sharing your musical gifts or organizing events, there’s a way for you to get involved.
Worship Assistants
Your help makes worship possible and there are many ways to help make worship meaningful, welcoming and organized for everyone. Consider one of these worship assistant roles as a way to serve:
- Greeter
- Usher
- Communion Assistant
- Reader (Lector)
- Tech Support (sound and livestream assistance)
- Altar Guild (preparing communion and the worship space)
- Nursery Helper (Sunday mornings)
Music Ministry
You don't need to be a professional musician to praise God! Just bring your gifts and a willingness to participate in one or more of these ways:
- Chancel Choir
- Spirit Singers
- Soulvation (Praise Band)
- Chime Choir
- Bell Choir
- Special Music & Instrumental Opportunities
Ministry Teams & Committees
