What We Believe
Saved by grace, led by the spirit, called to serve
At St. John’s, faith is something we live out together. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), grounded in God’s grace and called to share that grace with the world.
We believe that God’s love is for everyone. Our doors, our communion table and our community are open to all, wherever you are on your faith journey. You do not need to be a member of St. John’s to participate fully in worship or share in Holy Communion. All are truly welcome.
We believe that God’s grace is a gift — freely given, not something we earn or achieve. Through grace, we are called into relationship with God and with one another, not because we are perfect, but because we are loved.
We believe that faith invites curiosity. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but believe in asking big questions, exploring together and growing in community.
We also believe faith comes alive when it’s put into action. That’s why St. John’s is a place where ministry happens, not only within our church walls, but out in the community and beyond.
Living our Faith: Ministries at St. Johns
Through our ministries, we care for one another, serve those in need, and nurture the gifts God has placed in every person. Whether it’s providing meals, supporting families, caring for creation, growing in faith through small groups, or helping the next generation feel seen and supported — there’s a place for everyone to get involved.

Why I Love St. John's
“When I first came to St. John’s, I didn’t know what to expect, but I quickly realized this is a place where people truly care about each other. It’s not just about Sunday mornings, it’s about showing up for each other, for our community, and for the world.”
A Place for Everyone
If you’re curious, exploring or looking for a faith community where you can belong, we’d love to get to know you.
