Sally Bertelson, St. John’s Food Pantry Chairperson, is looking for someone to deliver the food donations from the church to the food pantry once a month. There is a copy of the food pantry schedule for October on the grocery basket in the coat room and on the basket in the gathering area. The food pantry door is open 1 hour before and during the distribution time. If you have any questions, or are interested in helping out, please contact Sally at 608.712.5835.
We are also in need of someone to collect and total our monthly Bill’s receipts. This can be done at any time. You will collect the receipts from the box, separate them into smaller bundles, total each bundle, put them in a zip lock bag and bring them into the church office to Shirley Schiffner. She then takes the receipts to Bill’s Grocery Store. The donations we receive from Bill’s goes toward Sunday School Education.
