Ball-making begins at 7:30 am, and we start rolling at 8 am. Volunteers are also needed to help with packaging at 1:30 pm each day. The lefse will be made for the Harvest Dinner coming September 26. There will also be packages of three rounds available for purchase at the dinner. Ryan Anderson and/or Karen Kreul will be calling and/or emailing you to get signed up. You can also sign up using the signup sheets in the Gathering Area. We hope to have many of our faithful workers come back again, but we also want those who are new to know they are welcome to join in. We work with all experience levels and will have you rolling and baking in no time!

NOW HIRING!
–> St. John’s Lutheran Church is seeking to hire a Ministry Operations Coordinator. This is a part-time, in-person position working with people both inside and outside of the congregation. The three main areas of responsibility include Communication and Engagement, Ministry Program Support, and Operational Leadership. If you are energized working with people, and possess superior organizational skills as well as initiative and familiarity with digital marketing and database management, you are encouraged to apply.

FALL HARVEST DINNER – Thursday, September 26
The annual Fall Harvest Dinner is coming on Thursday, September 26, from 4:30 pm – 7 pm. There will be in-house dining and carry-outs available. Please note that this year will not include a luncheon.
Dinner will be served from 4:30 pm – 7 pm.
We need volunteers for cake baking at 9 am on Tuesday, September 24, and for meatball making (date TBD). Many volunteers are needed to help this mission happen, so if you can help, we would appreciate it!

WELCA DONATION TO APPLE GROVE LUTHERAN CHURCH
The Women of St. John’s has made a $1,000 donation to the Apple Grove Lutheran Church in Argyle, WI. This Lafayette County church, founded in 1893, was struck by a tornado on Saturday, June 22. The entire church building was destroyed. Insurance will cover the building loss, but not the grounds. The congregation needs donations to restore its cemetery. Funds will be used to pick up and restore the tombstones to their footings.
